Assignments
can
be placed by email, or by telefax or mail. In any case, a written order
and all contact information is required in order to start working an
any assignment. In any case, an assignment only will be considered
accepted after issueing a written order confirmation.
Formats:
All ordinary file formats (MS Office, OpenOffice, HTML, etc.), PDF, scanned documents, fax transmissions, originals.

Quotes / invoicing:
If possible, translations are invoiced on the basis of the word count in the original text. Therefore you will know the exact cost of the translation before placing the order. In case of files or documents that do not allow an exact word count in the original format, an approximate quote will be issued. The final invoice then will be made on the basis of the word count in the translation. In some instances, it also is possible to agree on a fixed price beforehand.
Payment:
New
clients
possibly will have to make an advance payment before the start of an
assignment. Payment should be made by bank transfer to the indicated
bank account. Other payment methods on request.
After some collaboration, it will be possible to agree on individual payment conditions.
Additional remarks:
In
case of late payment I might invoice interest and administration fees.
A late payment futhermore has as a consequence that possible additional
assignments only will be processed after receipt of the pending payment.
Communication should preferrably be made by email, in order to avoid delays and misunderstandings. Nevertheless, communication also can be conducted by phone or fax, if necessary.
