Who or what is KOWALINGUA?
KOWALINGUA
is the commercial name of Andrea Kowalenko's translation office.
Andrea Kowalenko was born in Germany and went to school there. After the general German university access exam (Abitur) I moved to Spain, first for three years to Barcelona, then for one year to Menorca Island. In 1998 I moved to Palma de Mallorca, where I now live.
Long years of working experience in different industrial and service sectors lead to a broad general and specific knowledge. Worth mentioning are, above all, two years in the food industry area, one year in the automobile sector, as well as five years of working experience at a Spanish-German lawyer's office.
In parallel to the a. m. working activity, in 1996 I sat the Spanish "Selectividad"-exam in order to be able to start university studies in Spain. Since 1997, I am studying Psychologie at the Spanish university UNED.
In 2006, after many years of translating activity during different employments, I started my career as a freelance translator.
